I've meant to post about Nick Hands' Slowcoast project for ages: I love it!
Nick is a photographer, typographer, and graphic designer who lives in Bristol and works for a 'nice little clothing company' in Wales called Howies. He's also a keen cyclist and earlier in 2009, he decided to cycle around the coast of Britain and make a series of slideshows about the artisans he met en route who make their living from passion and craft. They are beautifully shot and edited, but more importantly they are direct, charming and unpretentious. A bit like the man himself.
He made the ride to support the Parkinson's Disease Society: if you like what you see, you can support them here
